First Romney-Obama debate postmortem
I bet you think I’m gonna declare Romney the winner of the first debate, being the ideological hack that I am. Well…you’d be right, of course.
But it’s not just ME who thinks this. In addition to CNN’s poll showing 67% of respondents thought Romney was the clear winner, and CBS’ poll showing more than twice as many people though Romney won as Obama, this page will give you a great illustration as to how the left saw it. Even James Carville can’t help but call it straight, for once. Dude, when you’ve got Bill Maher, Queen Andrew Sullivan, Mark Halperin, Peter Beinart, Juan Williams, and even Tingles Matthews and other MSDNC talking heads (speaking to both of their viewers) all in despair…well, it’s a good night for the good guys!
Exit question: Will “objective, neutral journalist” George Snuffalupagus (or whatever the h3ll his name is) continue his trend of ignoring reality and call this one for B.O., too?

Still not over. Remember how awful W was back in 2004. What I did like about Romney is that he seemed to walk back on many issues conservatives love. That’s the moderate I want.

Of course it is not over, Biden / Rian debates are coming, prepare a bucket of popcorn and take a deep sit!
Comment by Paul | October 4, 2012
Last night on MSNBC, (I was one of its two viewers) Matthews suggested Romney come on and debate the liberal MSNBC hacks. Carville on CNN said don’t worry, Team Obama will fix it tomorrow. The Liberal MSM can’t fix Obama! No matter how much help Obama gets, he’s still the empty chair.

Al Gore is theorizing that Obama did so poorly because of the high altitude in Denver.

The “spinnnnnnnn” is in, for the lefties. They are trying so hard to cover the Ovomit’s debate performance that the interviews of the lefties appear to be what they are, complete bull. And, most of them, are stuttering in their answers. This is normally smooth talkers stumbling around trying to find the words to make everything okay.
I hope they don’t succeed.
Liberalism is a serious mental disorder.

How’s this: Romney is running for President. Obama is running for President and running the country.
Comment by Alli | October 4, 2012
I think Ali made a typo…she said “running”. I do believe she meant “RUINING”. Funny how no such excuses were needed for slick Willie (that’s Bill Clinton, for those who might not know) when he was president.
Comment by Kevin | October 5, 2012
No I meant running. Believe me though, I thought Obama was awful the other night. I just get tired of hearing tv pundits gloating and talking about how his team was spinning it (as if that has never happened with a republican candidate) that I just feel the need to be objective. Maybe I’m just getting old and tired of the same old same old crap. Anyway, not sure what your beef is with Clinton…unless it’s that everyone had a job, economy was good, no war thing.
